Environmental and sustainability statement

Environmental:

MHL Facilities is committed to reducing the environmental impacts associated with all our services, in particular reducing pollution, emissions and waste.

MHL Facilities will promote the use of sustainable resources and discourage wasteful or damaging practices.  

We are implementing a sustainability and carbon reduction policy, as we look to become a carbon neutral company. 

We look to gradually implement a set of practices which will reduce our carbon emissions footprint though our working arrangements with Changing Planet Solutions experts to 
reach our goals. . 

We have already introduced new ecofriendly cleaning products and equipment; we have changed our electricity to green sustainable electricity; we are involved in the replanting of trees through our landscaping services. 
We have provided a bike to work scheme for a number of our employees. 

We acknowledge the impacts of our activities on the environment, and we seek solutions to environmental problems by adopting sound principles and best practice. 
 
It is our priority to encourage our suppliers and business associates to do the same. 
 
Our policy is to:
Minimise our waste then reuse or recycle as much as we can. 
Operate and maintain company vehicles and encourage car or van sharing where possible.
Minimise water and energy usage in our buildings and work environment. 
Purchase products that do the least amount of damage to the environment. 
Provide our customers with an eco-friendly service. 
Responding promptly and effectively to any significant environmental impacts of company operations. 
Ensuring ecofriendly products are used within our company. 
 
Educating our staff through training about the importance of environmental management.
